Director’s Message:

     It is with great pride and honor that Bridgeport Public Schools' Bilingual & World Languages Department presents our Annual English Learner Summit.

Our hope is that our Summit provides you with confidence, knowledge, and has transformative effects on the teaching and learning of all English Learners. Bridgeport has approximately 4,050 English Learners. Our goal is to shift our instruction from “silos” to a “collaborative” model.

     I look forward to meeting all of you at this empowering event. We hope to establish a network of teachers dedicated to improving teaching and learning for all English Language Learners.
